AT A GLANCE
- The App does not ask you to create an account or sign in.
- We do not collect, store or sell your personal data through the App.
- We do not track your location, record audio or video, or store body, hand
or eye-tracking data.
- The App may contain links that open outside it, including our website,
maps, email, telephone and social media. Those services may collect data

- The platform, device manufacturer, operating system or other third-party
services used to access the App may independently collect data about your
use of their products and services.
1. WHO WE ARE

2. WHAT THIS POLICY COVERS
This policy explains how we handle personal data in connection with the
Fire Response: Office Safety Training application (the "App").
The App may be distributed through an app store, software marketplace,
website, direct download, enterprise deployment or another distribution
channel.
This policy covers personal data processed by us in connection with the App.
It does not cover the operating system, device, app store, software
marketplace, website, platform or other third-party service through which
you access or use the App. Those services are governed by their own privacy
policies.
3. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT
The App is designed as a self-contained demonstration. We have designed it
so that we do not collect or store personal data about you through the App.
Specifically, we do not:
- require an account, login, username or password;
- collect your name, email address, postal address or telephone number
through the App;
- collect or store account details, user IDs, profiles or friends lists
belonging to a third-party platform;
- track your geographic location;
- record, transmit or store camera images, passthrough video or microphone
audio;
- store hand-tracking, eye-tracking, face-tracking, body-tracking or spatial
mapping data outside your device's local memory during the session;
- use advertising identifiers, serve advertisements, or build user profiles;
- sell, rent or share personal data with third parties for their own
marketing purposes.
Any processing performed locally by the device to render the experience,
such as tracking your head, hands or other movements so the scene responds
to you, is performed on your device during your session and is not
transmitted to us.
4. DATA THAT MAY STILL BE PROCESSED
4.1 By the platform, device manufacturer or distribution provider
Depending on how you obtain and use the App, the provider of the relevant
platform, operating system, device, app store, software marketplace or
distribution service may collect information about your device, account,
software usage, purchases, diagnostics, performance or interaction with the
platform.
Such providers act as independent data controllers for their own processing.
We do not control that processing.
Please refer to the privacy policy of the relevant provider for information
about how it collects, uses and shares personal data.
The relevant provider may also provide us with aggregated, anonymised or
otherwise non-identifying statistics about the App, for example total
installs, usage statistics or aggregate crash rates. Where such information
does not identify you individually, we treat it as non-personal information.
4.2 Development engine and third-party components
The App is built with Unity Engine. Depending on the configuration and
components used in a particular version of the App, Unity or other
third-party technology providers may collect limited technical,
diagnostic or analytics data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Third-party components included in the App may also process technical or
other information in accordance with their own privacy policies where
applicable.
5. LINKS THAT LEAVE THE APP
The App may contain links and contact details that take you outside it,
including our website, email address, telephone number, a map showing our
location, and our LinkedIn, YouTube and Facebook pages.
Following any of these links may open a service operated by a third party,
such as a web browser, mapping provider, social media service, email
application or telephone application.
Once you leave the App, this policy no longer applies to the processing
performed by those third parties. Those providers collect and process data
under their own privacy policies, and we have no control over, and accept no
responsibility for, that processing.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any third-party service before
using it.
We do not receive personal data about you merely because you follow one of
these links.
6. IF YOU CONTACT US
If you choose to contact us by email or telephone, we will receive whatever
information you provide, typically your name, your contact details and the
content of your message.
Purpose:
To respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss our products and
services with you.
Legal basis:
Steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, or our
legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Articles 6(1)(b) and
6(1)(f) GDPR), as applicable.
7. SHARING YOUR DATA
We do not sell personal data.
We do not share personal data with third parties for their own independent
marketing purposes.
Where we use service providers, for example an email provider, website
provider, hosting provider or other technology provider, they may process
personal data on our behalf and, where applicable, act as processors under
appropriate contractual arrangements.
We may disclose personal data where we are legally required to do so, where
necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or where otherwise
permitted by applicable law.
8. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
We are established in Romania and seek to process personal data within the
European Economic Area wherever reasonably possible.
Some service providers may be established outside the European Economic Area
or may process data internationally.
Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we will rely on an
appropriate safeguard recognised under Chapter V of the GDPR, such as an
adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer
mechanism, where required.
9. YOUR RIGHTS
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, where applicable, you have the
right to:
- request access to the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate personal data corrected;
- request erasure of your personal data;
- request restriction of processing;
- object to certain processing;
- receive your personal data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law, normally
within one month of receiving your request.
There is generally no charge for exercising these rights, although applicable
law may permit us to charge a reasonable fee or refuse a request in certain
circumstances.
Because the App is designed not to collect identifying information, in many
cases we will hold no personal data about you to retrieve or erase. If that
is the case, we will tell you so.
Personal data held by a third-party platform, device manufacturer, app store,
software marketplace or other provider must generally be requested directly
from that provider.
10. COMPLAINTS
If you believe we have handled your personal data improperly, please contact
us first so we can investigate and, where appropriate, put the matter right.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory
authority:

You may also have the right to complain to the supervisory authority in your
country of residence, workplace or place of the alleged infringement, as
provided by applicable law.
11. CHILDREN
The App is not specifically directed at children.
The App may be subject to age ratings or age requirements imposed by the
platform, distribution provider, device manufacturer or applicable law.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the App.
If you believe that a child has provided personal data to us, please contact
us at office@vector-reality.com so that we can investigate and take
appropriate action where required.
12. SECURITY
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect any
personal data we hold against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure,
loss or destruction.
Because the App is designed not to collect personal data, the amount of
personal data processed directly through the App is minimal by design.
No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely
secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. DATA RETENTION
Because the App itself is designed not to collect personal data, we generally
do not retain personal data arising from your use of the App.
If you contact us, we may retain correspondence and related information for
as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, manage our
business relationship, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes,
enforce agreements or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
The applicable retention period depends on the nature of the information and
the purpose for which it is processed.
14. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy, for example if the App changes, if we introduce
new functionality or if applicable law changes.
The current version will be made available at the applicable address or
otherwise published with the App, and the date at the top shows when the
policy was last revised.
Material changes will be reflected in an updated version before they take
effect where required by applicable law.
